 Sport fishing along the East Cape is world class. Between April and October, striped marlin can be seen sleeping on the surface of the water, free-jumping or feeding and is a common catch. Blue marlin is in abundance July through October and weigh an average of two hundred to four hundred and fifty pounds. Black marlin or big blacks can weigh in at over nine hundred pounds.
